In order to get a bit of a break of the cleaning of my room, we decided to go to the Rheinfall: the biggest waterfall in Europe :)

Sunny Zürich

A short city walk in Zürich again revealed what a lovely city it is.


The main building of ETH Zürich. My office isn't in this building, though. There is, however, a very expensive staff canteen on the top floor with beautiful views of Zürich and its surroundings. When the weather is very clear, you can see the mountains in the distance.


What can I say? I just really love the Limmat river :)

Zoo Zürich: Year subscription!

Quite close to my house, there is the Zoo Zürich. Because a lot of people (3.. that's a lot, okay?) who will visit me in the coming year want to visit the zoo, I thought I would buy a year subscription to the zoo. It can also be easily reached from my house by bike, so if I need to get out in the weekend at some point, because I am bored, or alone, I can always go to the zoo, to be among people and have a nice time. Also, also, the year subscription is relatively cheap and that is quite unique in Zürich :P

Yesterday, I visited the zoo for the first time with my father and sister. It actually is a really lovely zoo!
