I can imagine that seeing this platform every day would be awesome! Magical even!

We indeed didn't go to Alnwick castle, but Harry-Potter-nerd as I am, I already visited it 4 years ago. That was a great day as well! Did you ever go there? I think they actually do Harry-Potter-tours and stuff, but I was only there for one afternoon, as we were doing a tour from Edinburgh. It looked as if you could spend a nice whole day (or more) there though :)
